creative as s---. almost uncomfortably personal. wordplay is something else. production is otherworldly. all this from a man whos nearly 2 decades in to his career. agreed wouldn't put it on same pedestal as Skelethon but yea regardless album is p fkn great.

I absolutely agree with the op.

I know that Skelethon is objectively a better album but the impossible kid is just easier to digest.

So someway I let this project escape me the past year, then I saw Myke Ctown, Big Quint, Ken, and needledrop all put it on their best of 2016 album lists and stated it was Aes' most accessible project so i had to listen
I have enjoyed Aesop's past albums even though I really could only grasp what he was truly saying his is simpler popular tracks like Daylight and None Shall Pass

But wow man, this record has blown me away so far. I can't remember the last time I peeped a new album and actively wished I was listening to it when I was doing something else. This record has so much content and connections between songs it just keeps dragging me back wanting more. Basically the entire album is about Aesop personally and his depression over the past 8 years since his friend died.

It's a lot easier to understand than his older stuff, while still being complicated enough to require reading the lyrics and truly thinking about the stuff he's saying. Also the production is breathtaking and Aesop's flow is better than its ever been.

This also really got me wanting to go back and truly comb through his older stuff until I understand it as much as I do this project

Have you guys given this thing a listen? What do you think about it?

    Fav tracks
Blood Sandwich (prob my new fav Aes song)
    Get out the car
    Rings
    Molecules

I know I'm probably gonna get dumb troll responses, just hope real responses are enough to balance it out
