Some of you would be happy if he made an album that sounded EXACTLY like his first three. You'd rather he play it safe and take zero chances.
f--- growing as an artist or experimenting eh? How dare he use more rock beats, a choppy flow, female hooks or accents right?!
Y'all just want the same d--- thing ... over and over again.
Ugh.
And yes that's a dig at Force Awakens being unoriginal as f---.(This ad goes away when signing up) -

Nawh, not me for sure.
Love the crazy flows and insane lyricism.
I love being surprised by Em. It's one of the reasons he's still as popular as he is, because as much as we all feel he's predictable (somehow...) - I sure as f--- didn't predict or expect a horrorcore concept album, as an arab, after Encore. And didn't expect some ode to current trends, megahits, yell fest @ Recovery. Then sure as f--- did not see MMLP2 coming.
That's what keeps Em exciting. Never know what you might hear next.
BUT! All I want, personally, is for him to stop tarnishing albums with shameless compromises aka The Monster on MMLP2. The key difference being Em used to just make his songs radio hits. It wasn't that he pandered to radio, radio pandered to him. But for him to just keep doing these "yeah yeah gimmie a hook and beat template at x tempo and I'll {insert triumph over odds verses here}!" is just wack as f---. That's all I want, just have the balls to see a vision through from start to finish.
The only return-album that there was no obvious aesthetic compromises was Recovery. Because the whole album sounds like that, so nothing sounded out of place. Just a shame that the production is s---.
But for him to tarnish the MMLP title with the most obvious and shameless radio template song in the world like the f---ing Monster? That's so s--- of him. Especially as he doesn't need to. Rap God was fkn triple platinum and that s--- was a 6 minute spaz fest over a seizure beat, with Em whispering a hook. He doesn't need to pander to be big, and yet he does anyway.
No doubt f---ing Jimmy and co. "ahh Em I think we need a bigger lead single". Old Em would say f--- off or make a song which sounds like the fkn album. New Em just goes "yeah w.e. send me that s--- you were gonna send to Flo Rida, I'll just do what everybody else does and conform. No worries Jimmy!".
