Lol @ thinking it's a sob story. It's literally living in squalor. Literal poverty m8. Idk how you fail to understand things like this.

Where do you get to thinking that I or anyone else working their a--- off full time deserves to live in s-----y and unacceptable circumstances, struggling just to get by?

Wow you went all out to respond to my post ...I appreciate u taking the time to do so and I see where you are coming from...minimum wage is definitely not a wage to aim for but at the same time a living wage can cause one to spend more and still be broke ...The key in my opinion is to save money as much as possible

    What?

Deflation isn't a good thing and isn't connected to taxes.

It's when wages don't increase, currency becomes too strong and suppliers are forced to sell goods at a lower rate because consumers can't afford current rates.

It's generally the thing that caused recessions and depressions world wide before the 1950s.

Inflation that is faster than stagflation and slower than hyperinflation is what is best.

You do not want a 0% or less inflation rate.

This s--- is insane. I read this and was legit on the edge of my seat as if I was reading some type of crime-fiction novel lol. If this isn't obstruction of justice, I don't know what is.

One of the craziest things Comey mentioned is that throughout Obama's 8 years, he spoke to him in person twice and never had a phone call with him. He spoke to Trump 9 times over the span of 4 months. Ridiculous...

It's weird when people think $15 an hour is a high wage.

It isnt if you're paid cash, but when you consider what the employer actually pays in Social Security, Medicare, Federal & State Unemployment Insurance Tax, Workman’s Compensation Insurance, local payroll taxes, etc $15 per hour turns into over $20 pretty quick.

Workers comp alone is mandated at 30% in my state and line of work. If I pay somebody $23 per hour, I'm really paying $30. Then add on all the taxes I just mentioned, 401k, health insurance, paid time off, etc. See how this could be a concern for business owners trying to churn a profit?

So what can an employer do to offset these costs? Unless taxes and workers comp rates are lowered they will have no choice but to charge the customer more. Prices will go up on literally everything. It's simple economics. Your $15/hour won't mean s--- if everything increases in price. That's the whole argument.

Triple post because I know most can't read more than one paragraph at a time.

Please try to dispute these facts @Enigma @Cyreides and @reservoirGod
