I can't speak on the 4k res's, but the 1080p games are definitely native 1080p, not upscaled. Think they only started working on the emulator in the past year, so it's still new territory as i said. Some graphics cards (intel chipsets and some nvidia) have lots of issues using the emulator, but there's multiple places online with spreadsheets that get updated weekly with what cards people used to run what games and how well the games run.

xenoblade x
super smash bros
twilight princess
some other zelda game

like those are jsut some popular ones i'm going to try and paly over the next month or two. i got the emulator downloaded, but net is s--- so havent bothered with any roms yet but will soon. mario kart 8 on PC in 1080p played with a ps4 controller, it's like i'm taking out my d-ck and just waving it in the nintendo CEO's faces.

This game is still absolutely massive. I played on Thursday night after work for a break....ended up being a 4.5 hour play session. It was crazy. Just exploring upon exploring. It's really neat all the little things you come across. I think I've logged 43 hours or so so far. It still feels pretty fresh for me, like it has continued to lure me to keep playing. I know other open world games have similar effects (like Skyrim, I'll always have a soft spot for that game first time playing it). But it's so neat for Zelda to now follow that formula for this game. I'm not an overly huge Zelda lore person, but I'd assume people who are are enjoying the h--- out of the game because there are little easter eggs even I get lol.

I know it'll be good, just feel like the whole zelda magic is lost, it's been almost 20 years. Its kinda like, i see the whole switch/zelda thing a step in the right direction, but it's not a step and they have their whole franchise riding on it.

It is pretty hilarious how they haven't figured out how to manage online services. If you own a Wii, DS and a WiiU, you have to have 3 separate Nintendo accounts with games tied to them all it's an abomination

this is another money making meme for game devs. they remove backwards compatability so they can sell you the game again on the switch e-store as a digital download - why sell a game once, when you can sell it twice?

The only thing that bothers me is that the Switch isn't backwards compatible with WiiU... I'd like to play the HD version of WW and TP. i guess I'd get more out of a WiiU but it seems dumb to buy one when the Switch is here already.

@Coco I bought a new3ds when Majoras Mask 3D came out solely because I'm a Zelda fan... It's my favorite series of all time. I'll do the same with the Switch. I have no interest in the other games but I gotta play this. I don't have a WiiU and if I'm gonna spend $200 on a WiiU, I might as well spend $300 on the Switch instead. I view the Switch as a way to sell a new console and it's working. To this day the only other game I really played on my 3ds was Pokemon. I'm getting my taxes back soon and this is what I'm getting. Zelda above all. Once I'm done with it, I'll probably never touch the Switch again. Maybe I can rent one or something lol

Just picked up a Wii U + Wind Waker off Craigslist for 75 bucks. Only thing I had to do was order a charger for the gamepad, dude said his dog chewed up the charging cord.
Wont be able to afford a Switch for a minute and aside from the new Mario I'm not in a rush to get it, luckily I'll be able to play Breath of the Wind now tho. I'm sure Wii U games bout to get cheap too.

they all look pretty average to me. New mario? does look good and i want to play it, but really I doubt it'll be all that much different to N64 mario. splat 2? "we must give the asians a competitive e-sport game!" mario kart 8.5 will probably be good, but the 8.5 part shows how tired the series is. might have cared about pikmin 10-15 years ago. Xenoblade is a good JRPG. i dunno what more you could say about it.

download cemu's wii u emulator with your web browser then when the zelda rom is out (soon after release) you get 100% off the console and game
