one of my good friends was supposed to go to iran this summer to visit family for the first time in years and had to cancel his trip for now

even absolutely harmless, legal citizens of the US are being punished for few bad apples that have seemingly spoiled the bunch

Yeah but you don't get it either.

I am not talking about ISIS, Al Qaeda or the Taliban. Those are terrorist organizations.

I am not talking about any race.

I am talking about the Ideology of Islamism. I really don't get how this is so confusing for you guys. ISLAMISM is not ISIS. There's a difference.
Wrong. I'm sorry that you are looking at this in such a simplistic manner. I am concerned with the Islamic fundamentalists, not the moderates. I do think Islam needs to be reformed overall, but it's hardly a black and white case. There's a lot of nuance to this. For the millionth time, it's not all Muslims.

You probably classify as a moderate, I don't really know your views but Algeria is fairly liberal for an Islamic country so I don't have any beef with you.

Sorry I took time to check the stats reliability, and they are mostly accurate

The thing to recognize about the poll question you've cited is that it's really not all that different from opinions in the US. According to Gallup, 49% of Americans think it's sometimes justified for the military to target and k--- civilians, and 21% of people in the US and Canada think it's sometimes justified for an individual person or small group of people to do the same thing.

The biggest difference between these polls and the US polls is that Pew is asking specifically about suicide bombing in defense of Islam, whereas people in the US would have some other scenario in mind that would make it "sometimes justified." If we asked if it's sometimes justifiable to commit violence against civilians in order to defend Christianity from its enemies, support from American Christians would be pretty high.

Meanwhile, places like Palestine and Afghanistan that have been attacked violently and regularly by non-Muslims for what they perceive (and sometimes are) religious reasons would have a different idea of what "in defense of Islam" means compared to Muslims in Turkey or Albania. The former would probably be more likely to believe that Islam must be defended against people who are themselves violent and target civilians

So I noticed your point is "Most muslims are in favor of applying violent Sharia laws and force them on westerns"
However, there is no country in the survey has +50% approval of Sharia being good.

and I have to admit, a lot of these interviewees are themselves ignorant about islam....[and I agree many many muslims are brainwashed into r-----s] but I'm here to defend islam, not muslims

and I say this because many in the survey believe Sharia is the word of god, while it's legal system developed by men based on the word of god.... (Proof: Indonesia's Sharia is a lot different than Saudi's)

    So I give you that,
    ............................................................................................................................................................
    Also, this is very important:
Sharia laws are just limits and are almost impossible to apply

Adultery just set to fear people from doing the sin, and not to actually apply it. and here is why:
~ adultery cannot be proven in court, unless:
1- you go to judge by yourself and tell him: Yes I f----- the hottest vagina, please k--- me. (and btw, you are allowed to lie about it and say u didn't)

2- 4 men watched you banging.. and every single one of them go to the court and swear they saw u f---ing .. and they must swear in 4 different sittings......... If anyone of them swear 3 different times in different sittings, (only 1) .. then u face nothing

so it's clearly not put to punish people. want more evidence,,,,, watch this 2 minutes story of the Prophet denying to stone a man who asks for it and admits adultery:

. yes I saw brutal stonning video in Somalia or whatever............ and completely believe these barbarian r-----s and going to go to h--- for not applying the correct islam and stonning her.

like I said, Islam in my eyes is perfect,,,,,,,, but many muslims nowadays are animals

and this not just about adultery,,,,, it's about everything. from robbery, to reverting.

Yea, another misconception is every reverted muslim should be killed......... but bunch of the Prophet follwers reverted and he didn't k--- a single one (and he was the leader of the country, so he obviously was able to k--- them)

I think you are being completely ridiculous if you think that variations of Sharia Law is comparable to some American views, americans who don't even ACT on those views. You are comparing the views of Muslim civilians to what civilians think the American Military should do. There is a bit of a false equivalency there, since the United States has a separation of religion and state - many middle eastern countries on the other hand, don't.
You will never find a poll that says that a number of American Christians want to suicide bomb non believers or citizens to defend Christianity. You are reaching here. I don't like Christianity either, but it has very little to do with my problems with Islam. You bringing up the United States, does nothing to address the problems within the Islamic community. It's a strawman argument. And undeniably there are some.
No I never said "most muslims" that's not my point at all. My point is that there is, at the very least, a portion of Muslims that believe in things like this. That was the point of posting the pew research polls. Islam, as a whole, has not advanced. It has not had the enlightenment. It needs to be reformed. It's still very tribal, and that's why you still get high support for variations of Islamic law.
Yes there are different variations of Sharia Law. Some more oppressive than others. However you talk about Indonesia. Did you know that in Indonesia, if women want to join the military/police, they have to go through a 2 finger test to make sure they are virgins? This is an example of an "advanced" Islamic country that still is extremely oppressive towards their women. Not even talking about Saudi Arabia. This is my point. I don't have a problem with the moderate Muslims that don't buy into all of that s---, but the fact is that there is still a population of Muslims THAT DO believe in it. That's all I am saying; I don't like Political Islam.

I think I've made my position clear, I don't like fundamentalist Islam, political Islam, Islamism, wahhabism, and so on. I have no problem with moderate Islam. I have Muslim friends.. that will actually talk to me about their views in a civil manner, without resorting to calling me an Islamophobe lol. This is hardly a black and white issue.

My reasonable criticism of Islam is not Islamohpobia, it's simply a criticism of some bad, tribal ideas. And granted, not all Muslims even believe in these ideas. You SJW types will label it how you want, oh well. I think I'm about done talking to you about this though.

Well, it's an opinion. Hardly an obsession lol.. I don't think labeling it as Islamophobia does anything good either.
