Air Force One (1997) - Perhaps the most hysterical blockbuster ever created. Watch this drunk at 3am.

Before Sunrise (1995) - GOAT love story. Linklater da bomb.

Julien Donkey-Boy (1999) - Some hate Korrine. Some love Korrine. You can guess which group I fall into. This a movie unlike any other and Werzog goes unhinged. He sips lean out of a sandle.

Matilda (1996) - Childhood favorite. Still holds up. I don't think many people realize Danny DeVito directed it. I wanna make breakfast with my telekentic powers to Send Me on My Way by Rusted Root. GOAT superhero movie.

Die Hard with a Vengeance (1995) - I maintain this Lethal Weapon ripoff is better than the first Die Hard. Bruce Willis, Samuel L Jackson, and Jeremy Irons >>>> Mel Gibson and Danny Glover.

Goodfellas - Amazing film. Really dropped you into the world of a man who was an outsider in one of the most infamous criminal organizations known throughout the world. Ray Liotta, Robert DeNiro, and Joe Pesci all bring life to three very different characters who walk the same path, but end up in different places. Honestly, my favorite scene is so minor to the movie though lol....



Seven - David Fincher is a f---ing genius. I love the gritty feel of the cinematography in this flick. Although Pitt and Freeman both give great performances, Kevin Spacey steals every scene that he's in... Fun fact: Kevin Spacey avoided receiving top billing for this movie for two reasons... To not draw the audience into expecting him to be in it, thus preventing his eventual reveal as the serial killer, and also, without being billed, he was spared the aggravation of traveling to promote the movie lol.



Fight Club - Once again, Fincher kills it. One thing I will never understand is why Edward Norton received 10% of the paycheck Brad Pitt got, though. Seriously, one of the greatest plot twists in a movie, EVER. The author of the book (which I read, and I prefer the movie) said that he didn't decide that Durden and Narrator were one in the same until 2/3 of the way through the writing process. This whole novel, and subsequent film was based on a camping trip he took. Some nearby campers were blaring their music and when he politely asked them to turn it down, they beat the s--- out of him. When he returned to work the following week covered in bruises, all of his colleagues were so casual about carrying on with the regular every day interactions, since asking him about something personal would involve them delving into his life. This inspired him to write Fight Club.



The Sixth Sense - IMO, this and "Unbreakable" are the only films M. Night worked on that were really great. After them, the plot twist became his signature move and he ran it into the f---ing ground. But this one is legendary. Haley Osment was one of the best child actors imo, and he seemed to have great chemistry w/ Bruce Willis, especially in what is really a very dark movie about a troubled boy who can interact with the spirits of the deceased, while receiving therapy from a man who ends up being one of those very spirits. The scene where Bruce Willis speaks to his wife while she's sleeping and tells her to let go is pretty heartbreaking to me.



And finally...

Forrest Gump - I don't care what anyone says, this is one of the top 5 greatest movies ever made. Tom Hanks went full r----- almost and it paid off in a tremendous way. So many amazing scenes. Forrest Gump, a simpleton from Alabama, spends his life fighting wars, making friends, losing them, accidentally exposing government corruption, starting a successful shrimping business in memory of a fallen friend, and does all of it while chasing Jenny, the love of his life, who takes a very different path. In all seriousness, though... It's heavily implied that Jenny died of HIV/AIDS from shooting up and s---. I'm just wondering how Forrest dodged that bullet when he got up in dem guts and made Forrest Jr? Maybe I'll add "immunity to the deadliest disease on Earth" to his list of accomplishments. Seriously, though, if you don't enjoy this movie, you're probably a f---in' robot. In which case, f--- you, robot, you'll never take over our planet, the human race will always win. Eat d-ck, robots!

1. Fight Club -- visually it aged soooo good; cinematography is unreal. aesthetic game is nxt lvl

2. Big Lebowski -- fkn hilarious. funnier than any movie i've seen from its time

3. Night On Earth -- movie about a buncha taxi drivers' adventures around the world or some s---. feels like it should be boring cuz its like mainly dialogue the whole time but its engaging af.

4. Pulp Fiction -- such a nxt lvl movie its ridiculous. the way that everything is written & sequenced is insane.

5. La Haine -- love the griminess, black & white, the cinematography, minimal feel. its a weird movie but its good as s---.
