    This morning, Rolling Stone published a piece recounting a night in the studio with Migos. At one point, writer Jonah Weiner brought up fellow Atlanta rapper iLoveMakonnen’s recent coming out, and the trio got apprehensive. Weiner describes an awkward pause as Migos considered how an artist who rapped about trapping could be gay, as if the two concepts were diametrically opposed.

    Weiner also noted that the announcement got a wave of support online, which Offset especially took exception to. “That’s because the world is f----- up,” he said. Takeoff and Quavo also agreed.

    “We ain’t saying it’s nothing wrong with the gays,” says Quavo. But he suggests that Makonnen’s sexuality undermines his credibility, given the fact that “he first came out talking about trapping and selling Molly, doing all that.”

    He frowns. “That’s wack, bro.”

    migos are from f---ing gwinnett county if anything their credibility should be questioned lol, makonenn maybe gay but he really from the hood and he put the work in the streets for real.

    It is a ignorant thing to assume a trap lord can't be gay but honestly look who we are talking about. Would you expect something else... hood black men saying it's wack to be gay? Slap yourself if you are shocked by this. If anything, it's surprising that they would openly express their views given the possible overreaction. Guess they going the Kanye/Eminem route and being controversial real a--- n----s rather than following trends. If they say that they hate Trump in the next line, would that make you feel more secure suddenly?

    I'm from gwinnett and I can say.. About 2% of n----s here are actually about it. The majority is suburban areas. They either sell .5 at school because they are too lazy to get a real job, or they complain they have anxiety and sell xans. Only know a handful of cats who actually trap because they need to

    end of the day, who really cares. If he likes dudes, then its whatever. Should judge an artist based on his music, and his music is still f---ing garbage.
