Future Best Posts: will this be future's best album to date?

    Seriously though love it when an album is announced and gets released within a few days instead of 'album coming in 3 months'

    future has had one of the most storied come ups between being a hit factory for himself and others, and then reinventing his sound for one of the most historic runs in rap history. linking up with long time collaborator drake and transcending to super stardom, dropping 2 more (one excellent, one good) tapes and then going ghost for a year.

    the maturity and focus of this artist going in to a project has never been higher. songs like used to this show that he found a pop/trap balance, and that's what separates future from a lot of artists occupying similar lanes to me.

    he put a year to make this, and for someone who is in the studio 365 nights a year, that's some hyperbolic time chamber s---.

    so my question is, with the above considered, where do you feel like this will rank in his discography?

    idk why people consider ds2 his best project, far from it. if anything, it has to be monster, beast mode, and honest.

    well first of all, i don't think being fourth behind Pluto, Honest, and DS2 would be anything to be ashamed of.

    i think he's been lazy in lots of his recent music, dating back to (let's be honest) even some stretches of Purple Reign. i realize there have been signs that he's breaking out of the holding pattern that kept him locked into one creative mode (post-56 Nights stuff, no joyous Honest stuff), but i'm gonna need to hear it on the album with my own ears. i'm skeptical about his willingness to break format.

    Nah seriously speaking I have no real experience when it comes to future however I consider songs like "in her mouth" and "i won" classics in my books so I want something my body and ears seek

    I don't think this will be his best, but I don't think it'll be anywhere near his worst either. Used to This is a near-perfect single though - the beat is flames and Drake brings his A-game, possibly even surpassing Future. I only listened to the other song once and wasn't feeling it too much but I hated Wicked the first time I heard it and that became one of my fav songs on Purple Reign so we'll see.

    I'm curious to see what direction this goes in though -- i can see it surpassing DS2 and EVOL (the latter easily) as far as retail albums go, but I don't think it'll touch Pluto, Honest, Monster, or Beast Mode.

    Also got into Future after hearing How It Was in GTA except after that I went back and listened to Dirty Sprite and Astronaut Status to fool people into thinking I'm a day 1

    Also if we are take the story of him being upset with Gucci for rushing Zone 6 or whatever out too fast, the man defiantly is going for quality this time around rather than throwaways that were EVOL
