    haha it's actually not a classic, but i made this thread because every first listen reaction on here was shi--ing on it

    and it's so much better than people gave it credit for yesterday

    solid project to bolster an already incredible discography, no dip at all on this project from future. perhaps not the forward progress many hoped for though.

    Haha I'm used to the vintage Hasman hype threads but I completely agree, it's solid and continues the fine trend of him just making decent-good music.

    And yes that's where I think some of the "disappointment" comes from the sonic aspect of the project, we all want that Pluto/Honest sound to resurrect or something even more abstract (think Benz Friendz or even Smoke Break w/ Chance)

    i liked that he switched the vibe on a dime, yet pretty naturally after DOA to Mask Off and never really went back. Poppin Tags was a needed upper in the back half, but for the most part he maintained moods really well. but for the most part you're right, it's nothing new
