    he'd have a point if this was thugs 4th project with the same sound. thug got a history of dropping consecutive tapes with similar sounds and then coming out with a completely new sound a few months later. he's just mad cus thug has more widespread recognition now and he cant brag about liking thug no more

    MAYBE you can argue that I'm Up was his worth project of 2016, but that doesn't mean it's a bad project. Just because its THUG's worst, don't mean s---. It was still better than the majority of releases last year. And it was his "worst" work of 2016..

    2017 will be fun

    I didn't read the whole thread so I don't know the context of all that is said, I just find I'm Up kinda boring and repetive as an album. Not so much compared to his other albums. Same problem I have with Future's s/t album.

    I haven't listened to thug until narshie kinda forced me lmao

    Edit: my favorite thug tracks are the ones that he raps over other kind of production

    this happened once. pre b6 he was definitely at his most experimental and innovative, altho u see some of it again in jeff. i dont want him to release 4 tapes w the jeff sound now, i want him to continue to evolve and prosper bc stagnating is beneath him. and no idc about the hipster bragging rights, me and most others realized thug would eventually cross over successfully sooner or later. jeff is an amazing step in that direction, but theres no reason to repeat that step 4 times.
