Mar 2, 2017 If his premise is to turn his fans into Christians with this album it surely will be a disaster and I don't want to listen to that s--- more than once. If he's going to present his views on faith in a pretty unconventional manner then i'm all for it.
Mar 2, 2017 Hopefully he taps Lena Dunham for some kick a--- skits or spoken word..... f--- off, Kendrick.
Mar 2, 2017 Becoming a modern day Lupe Fiasco. 2 great albums & now it looks like it is all downhill. TPAB has aged badly.
Mar 2, 2017 Can't wait for next album. I wonder if he can deliver. Didn't like his pop features at all. I don't even know why he does them. Let's hope for absolute GOAT.
Mar 2, 2017 Great comparison I never thought about that. GKMC is one of the best rap albums of the decade and it's like he's completely gravitated away from everything that made that record so good.
Mar 2, 2017 I want to give him the benefit of a doubt since it's not like he isn't capable of making good music or being a great rapper (I can't forget GKMC & S80) But its the way he describes things nowadays that throws me off, reminds me of Bono who I love with U2 but they are so damm self-righteous.
Mar 2, 2017 I was going to say Kendricks latter projects won't be like Lupe, but he did make and release Drogas Light. Just hope that never happens with Kendrick.
Mar 2, 2017 Yeah, but he didn't say that the album was titled "very urgent", or he did and i missed it?
Mar 2, 2017 If the album is similar to the style he's talking about... A gospel style feminist album, I'm going to give the first track a listen and probably throw it into the trash. Music is the one aspect of media I can still get into without the cancer of feminism or bs invading. If Kendrick gets preachy, I will quit listening with a quickness.
