    So I quickly made this list at @Ben's request. This is a super hard list to make because majority of the films and filmmakers I like aren't American so I guess they all fall under this category, I picked the 15 films that most readily jumped into my head, I'm sure there are several that could replace them or are just as worthy. I'm doing one per filmmaker so basically any film on this list is made by a filmmaker who probably has several others that could fit in it just the same. Hope y'all get some recommendations out of it.
