    You know exactly who I'm talking about. They credit Kanye with single-handedly driving rap away from the gangster era and embracing happier music in the face of violent stuff. Probably because he infamously beat out 50 in their fake album beef. Bruh, Kanye hails from pre-Chiraq when f---ing COMMON was the voice of his city. Andre 3000 came up in the dirty south and Outkast doing alien s--- was like the original version of Lil Wayne wearing girl's leopard tights. Miss Jackson and Roses were on national radio before Kanye ever charted. This is an even weaker version of "Kanye invented autotune". f---in' stans rewriting history.
