Mar 10, 2017 Final's thread left me curious. They ask questions on whether I'm disabled or not so I can not tick the box saying I'm disabled but I'm wondering... do employers really Google your name to see if you're worthy? I'm serious, I've applied many times yet I never got a formal interview.
Mar 10, 2017 yea just background checks man why u shouldnt have suspect s--- on your "public" social media
Mar 10, 2017 All the YouTube videos are unlisted on my channel. @Deadpool Not talking about social media, talking about the Google search results... I keep my social media nonsuspect and seperate from my real life. At least I figured that out last year.
Mar 10, 2017 then u should be fine there googling just for your social media man unless u got some articles out there that u did some f----- up s--- on or something lol
Mar 10, 2017 If you work in IT, it's highly likely. I've only ever seen/heard of employers doing it in office environments that rely heavily on computer usage. At one of my jobs, a few of the younger girls would literally go through the resumes searching names up on facebook and being like "lol he's a bogan" (rich suburb so no job for him, even tho i was poor as f--- and living in a ghetto an hour away )
Mar 10, 2017 Nothing totally f----- up. Just want to have a job based on my capability and not "oh, he's some s--- up f--- who doesn't know what he's doing and looks ugly.".
