    Because the numbers aren't even close to perfect yet.

    1000 song streams = 1 sale

    I absolutely would have purchased More Life if it wasn't for streaming. In the past 3 days, I've streamed the entire album maybe 4 times, which correlates to around 100 streams (generous).

    I'll need to listen to More Life 45 times this week just to equal one sale. That's almost 3 days straight with no sleep listening to Drake just to equal one traditional album sale.

    Comparing stream numbers to sales numbers is unrealistic and pointless


    For the record, More Life already has way more streams than 4 Your Eyez Only's first week.



    EDIT: It's actually 1500 streams = 1 sale, which makes the comparison even more ridiculous
