Mar 25, 2017 I actually think it was more like... he didn't always fit in super well on Urban radio at the time. He didn't necessarily fit the sound of Usher and Nelly that were dominating radio at the time. Stuff like "The Real Slim Shady" has limited replay value because the comedy aspects wear off fast. I know "Lose Yoursef" absolutely dominated at the time though.
Mar 25, 2017 So what did you do to find out it was me VR46? Use the context clues? Or does Section 80 steal a bunch of info from my Facebook when I sign up using Facebook?

Mar 25, 2017 Yeah Eminem was around in 1998. I remember hearing about him because of mixtapes and s--- (like lyricist lounge). And I think My Name Is debuted in late 1998.
Mar 25, 2017 Well taking it from my african friends, have 3 from zimbabwe, 2 from namibia and 1 from cameroon : You'd be surprised how many despise hiphop, as it portrays a negative image of black people as thugs, gangstas , people only interested in money (of course I am generalizing, as not all rappers do that) - they think African Americans are caught in their own world, and even make fun of them ( there are some skits you can google them, where africans make stereotypes of african-americans).
Mar 25, 2017 Interesting. Thanks for the input I'm sure they love 50 Cent though. But I have no idea why lol
