    "Christian rapper" is a label I associate with the ones who use it as a gimmick/crutch. Good rappers can talk about religion without relying upon it.

    His music has never been overly religious but has always contained some religious remarks/themes. Even going back to Section 80. I wouldn't classify his music as "Christian rap."

    Because part of his art deals with social concerns. Statistics show people who appear religious signify morals and good nature. Especially for nonwhites.

    He also doesn't make music specifically for a Christian audience.
