    Its like having a movie called "Dwayne Johnson: The Rock" and not having The rock mentioned at all

    I get modernization but make it so some kids were at a yard sale and found it. Or have it be like an old video game machine.

    Taking it away completely is ridiculous. Modernize it with new characters and better visuals. Modern comedy. Not change the plot device
