Mar 29, 2017 it is, though. integrity is all any of us have. you can make all the threads you want calling me wrong or stupid or whatever, but i'm not gonna stand for you suggesting i'm bought and paid for. you should apologize, frankly. i would say that this is the reverse: in rap, at least (or for major rappers), there are characteristics that are supposed to/assumed to separate albums from everything else. i would go more in depth but i'm on a deadline; this column gets at my point from another angle.
Mar 29, 2017 Agree w this, I think HLB shifted his focus a bit and he started making tracks like Controlla & One Dance to satisfy the pop/mainstream audience he gained after that song blew up. He said in his interview with DJ Semtex that he added the rap tracks because he felt he had to appease some of his other fans, which is one of the main reasons I think the @Final version of Views sounded so all over the place.
