Mar 31, 2017 I think in about 6 months time not many members on here will like Humble. Don't think it will have much replay value. It is a poor single I is much better.
Mar 31, 2017 6 or 7/10 It's not trash, I just think it's getting overrated. 1st verse is good, hook very repetitive and I don't like that he's using the same basic choppy flow throughout the entire song.
Mar 31, 2017 I was very harsh yesterday but I maintain this is the least I've enjoyed a Kendrick single and I can't force myself to like it but it's slightly grown on me.
Mar 31, 2017 This is true, but it's also applicable to every song ever made. Still think this song is easily defensible disregarding fandom. It's pretty much junk food as far as Kendrick's music goes, but it's style over substance, another overhaul of his sound, energetic af, technically sharp, brimming with personality. A refreshing departure for those who didn't really connect with TPAB. It's a dead simple song. Not sure how people can act like this is a giant misstep without projecting their own expectations onto it.
Mar 31, 2017 I liked it on the first listen but I thought I would need the context of the album to fully appreciate it. On second thought, I don't need this at all. It already bangs f---ing hard. Humble>Swimming Pools> I
Mar 31, 2017 Find myself in the same boat. I adored TPAB at first, then most of the songs became unlistenable, but now I appreciate it. I find music's appeal has an ebb & flow with where you are in life.
