Apr 4, 2017 Greates label since 99 ? Which is that ? Talkin' about Shady ? I guess half of the names u dropped are not on Shady at all. 50 on No Love ? Might be true but how would u know ? ANy source ? I can't see 50 on any Love Story songs, let alone Johnny Cash. Actually, even Eminem was hard to fit on that album but he had to be on it and Best Friend was good. Only thing I agree with is he things u said about Kanye & 50 Cent sales. I can confirm 50 Cent is a lot more popular than Kanye is in Europe. But they both are forgetten for years now. What's the point of this thread...
Apr 4, 2017 How did you come to this conclusion? The others I get, Sean is signed to Kanye, Cole is signed to Jay, but neither of those guys are signed to Wayne. Kendrick's music is more noticeably Wayne influenced than Yachty's.
Apr 4, 2017 Are we really debating whether 50 Cent is a bigger name than Kanye West? Did I just time warp to ten years ago or something?
Apr 4, 2017 He absolutely is not, I'm European and nobody's mentioned 50 Cent here since like 2005. Kanye is arguably the biggest celebrity in the world right now, every word out of his mouth, music related or not, is headline news, you can't escape the man.
Apr 4, 2017 idk cause im from europe and yes its true that people forgot about him but i remember in his prime he was everywhere. never seen this happening with kanye here..
Apr 4, 2017 Will 50 Cent even release another album? He's too proud to release a flop, and I can't see him ever generating real buzz again. Shady 1.0 is in tragic shape. To answer OP, the fans stopped supporting because there was nothing to support. Eminem can't front a label, has no desire to go out and generate attention, and doesn't seem to do anything to help his artists outside of the studio. Not good enough when Interscope clearly doesn't give a f---. He can hide in the shadows for years and still move units. Barely anyone has that ability though, so anyone not called Eminem will rot.
Apr 4, 2017 You can't blame the fans on this one Shady Records is run horribly. Artists were/are promised artistic freedom on the label; but atleast until 2014, Your debut album was usual compromised by the likes of Paul Rosenberg, Jimmy Iovine and Eminem himself. The only acts on Shady Records who got their debut out without compromising was 50 and D12, and Eminem fought for D12 to release the way it was intended. We also stopped supporting because they dont promote their acts at all. They rely on Eminem to release an album every 2-3 years and rank in 800k first week and live off of that as long as they can. Look at this ridiculous silence from Eminem/Shady Records. Alot of artists are reclusive, but h--- even Frank Ocean has been more active them Eminem and that dude was gone for 4 years f--- Shady Records
Apr 4, 2017 I'm just gonna leave. It's too early for me to comprehend all of this garbage. It's actually all a bit too much.
Apr 4, 2017 I don't blame the fans, I blame the entire artist roster being complete s---. slaughterhouse should of retired probably 5-10 yrs ago. Yelawolf is straight trash as a rapper and is very polarizing with his redneck "ill f--- my sister" content. Who were the other f--s again? cashis or some s---? terrible.
Apr 4, 2017 Australian here, Kanye has a huge fan base. Literally don't know a single person that still listens to Eminem though.
