Apr 5, 2017 I never said they didnt have a better team, but its not like the thunders squad is marginally worse. without harden the rockets would probably be a 8/9th seed while the thunder would be a 10/11th without russ. The Thunder have one of the best front courts in the league. along with great perimeter defenders like oladipo and and roberson, they arent bums. Both teams only have one all star so either team will be lost without there star. Hardens acheiving more with his squad and putting up similar numbers to russ which is why he has the edge in the mvp race. It's not that hard to understand.
