Apr 11, 2017 But that still ignores the fact that regime change is not some simple process. Where ever there's a government fallout and a vaccum for power, extremist will follow. We've seen this in not only Iraq but Syria, Libya etc. Establishing some puppet government will not sit well with Koreans either. We're also assuming here that most N. Koreans want Kim Jong Un gone when that might not entirely be the case. All these people know is what their government controlled news media tells them and it's told them for years that the U.S. is this evil force.
Apr 11, 2017 Good point man, I was thinking that, the Us is portrayed so terribly there it definitely wouldn't be easy. We would have to create a real democracy there which very well could be impossible. No doubt a complicated situation, but if all worked out well we could do some good. & I'd take action in North Korea anyday over Syria. Less likely extremism will follow in NK, IMO.
Apr 11, 2017 Lol @ "U.S.A" but we gonna have to do something about north korea sooner or later, if we just keep waiting eventually they'll have multiple nukes able to hit Cali and then ppl will blame trump for not taking action
Apr 11, 2017 Obama has been very calm and patient with North Korea. Trump is not going to take that s---. i hope those morons understand that before they find themselves neck deep in s---.
Apr 11, 2017 We have missle defense systems... Iron Dome has proved the technology works. No one can hit California with an ICBM.
Apr 11, 2017 we have a missile defense system but it's not infallible from wikipedia: "The NMD program is limited in scope and designed to counter a relatively small ICBM attack from a less sophisticated adversary. Unlike the earlier Strategic Defense Initiative program, it is not designed to be a robust shield against a large attack from a technically sophisticated adversary." So yeah it's probably not likely north korea could successfully hit us in the near future, but if we keep waiting and they keep improving their missile tech who knows. But it's also far more likely they would strike S. Korea or Japan where we have many troops
Apr 11, 2017 This honestly is the biggest issue. They can't really attack us, but their weapons can definitely reach their neighbors.
Apr 11, 2017 Twitter glo'd up Trump the type of n----- that be sliding in jong un pm's talkin bout "1v1 me" knowin d--- well he got goons on call
Apr 11, 2017 Trump about to pull Drake. First Syria, now Korea. But for now... "Trigger fingers turn to twitter fingers."
Apr 11, 2017 If North Korea would try to attack Seoul, South Korea & China would most likely be able to stop any attack come to think of it. & by doing that NK would seal its own fate.
Apr 11, 2017 Very true. But I would imagine China has a developed enough system to possibly deter an attack. I'm not 100% sure though tbh
