if you're the greatest player in the world you should be the one making the play, not standing 5 feet behind the 3pt line watching someone else do it for you

Yeah not like LeBron wasn't on absolute fire the entire game either. I would bet a lot of money if he drives that ball it ends in an and-1 and the series is 2-1 going into Friday.

Not many "smart basketball" fans tbh. He 100% would have gotten more criticism for taking that shot and missing than letting Kyrie take it and miss.

Who tf cares what criticism he'd get though? He's the best player in the world and made probably 10 layups/dunks last night, a handful of which were much more difficult/contested than that last one he turned down.

He made the right play at the wrong time. He's wired to pass so in tight spots that's what he leans on, but his team needed him to finish that game last night.

Once & for all this man is a super athletic Magic clone, MJ comparisons should stop and never really made sense in the 1st place.
Bron's got rabbit ears. He's proven this over 14 years, regardless of what he says in pressers.

To be honest though I don't think 'oh man what are the ppl going to say' is running through his mind. He deaded those demons years ago. But the pass is how LeBron's wired. For better or worse that is almost always what he will do in that situation.

Never suggested that. I was just refuting his point.

I mean I never thought Lebron was the GOAT. If we wanna keep making that comparison to MJ I guess the criticism is warranted? I just think it's stupid to criticize a play where if the ball had gone in, we wouldn't even be talking about it. If Kyrie misses his game winning shot in game 7 and Cavs lose, do you criticize Lebron for that too? I mean... if anything, critique the guy who missed the shot, not the guy who made the right decision.

It's not a Lebron problem, it's a logic problem. Your logic behind this isn't exactly solid. You could replace Lebron with any other player and I'd still be arguing the same thing.

Say what you want but Cavs lost the game yesterday.

They couldn't buy a bucket. JR shooting bad shoots to much Iso... LBJ only scoring 11 in the 4th... can't happen. Kyrie was ballin but he went ghost too...

Bron's consistently let Wade or Kyrie take over in the big moments throughout his career, this isn't new...Bron will make a play every now and then though, but yeah he's more of a 2nd option usually in those situations from what I've seen at least when Kyrie or Wade are there with him.

ANY Lebron shot attempt is better than a Korver 3 and a Kyrie ISO, nothing wrong with that logic. He's shooting over 50% for the series lol. This isn't the 1st half when you're trying to get your teammates involved, this is money time and I want the best player in the world to at least TRY and win the game with your season basically on the line.

Why not go to the basket though where'd he'd been killing it all night? Was 0-6 from 3 before that last attempt.
