Apr 13, 2017 is there really a difference between dropping 10 smaller bombs in one centralized area versus one larger bomb? the focus of the story is gonna be the size of the bomb, rather than the fact that bombing is taking place at all.
Apr 13, 2017 On the one hand, I'm concerned that Trump is putty in the hands of the generals. On the other hand, if there aren't casualties, and it was an IS stronghold, not really too heated about it. Not any more than usual. US kills middle easterners all the time. The method doesn't really matter. That's what I never got about the argument over drones.
Apr 13, 2017 It must have been one h--- of an ISIS stronghold for something of that magnitude to be dropped
Apr 13, 2017 First step in the fight with Nukes... people only gonna talk about the size. We all dyin soon... big bombs or little bombs, WWIII is coming..
Apr 13, 2017 It really depends what type of bombs you're talking about. Tomahawk missiles that were used in Syria are obviously much smaller but are guided missiles. You can hit a specific target with these missiles with pretty good accuracy. A bomb like this, there's really no accuracy involved. Where ever you drop it, it's going to destroy everything in its radius. As for this specific circumstance though it seems like they were targeting a mountainous region that supposedly had a complex tunnel system that ISIS was using. There's no word on any civilian casualty yet but that's going to be key in how well this action is received.
Apr 13, 2017 I f---s with this move a lot more than the Syrian missiles attack. Trump said he was going to go after ISIS hard, this is a good way to make a statement that we ain't f---in around.
Apr 13, 2017 Trump has delegated a lot of his powers as commander-in-chief over to his generals. I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't even authorize this.
Apr 13, 2017 The MOAB is a very accurate bomb as well, but it doesn't matter, like you said, it will get the job done
Apr 13, 2017 This is what happens when you make fun of his little hands...have to over compensate some how
