Apr 15, 2017 So far the ones that stand out for me are LUST, PRIDE, and DUCKWORTH. LUST shows just why Kendrick is one of the greatest rappers to ever live. The storytelling in the first verse with how it switches from the male to the female perspective is great. No other rapper in this generation has ever told both sides of a story on a song the way and on the level KDot has. The 2nd verse ties everything up perfectly and the beat development is amazing. PRIDE is very haunting, honest, and somber. He takes you on a trip inside his subconscious and the hook with him and Anna Wise is one of the best hooks I've heard this year. DUCKWORTH is another example of his elite storytelling abilities. 9th Wonder tossed Kenny the alley oop and he finished it What are yours?
