    When? When it's normal? When it's pitch shifted down? When it's pitch shifted up? When he's singing? When he's clearly pulling from the Beetles on the refrain? Go listen to Steve Lacey's Demo.

    You're simplifying a pretty complex song by trying to dismiss it as a style jack. Not to mentione rappers have been inspired by Mayfield since Ice T.

    d--- is much more unique and higher quality than More Life

    With Drake we already know what we were going to get.. he's not creative enough to create something new and that's where Kendrick outshines him with every album. Drake sounded like such a try-hard on More Life meanwhile Kendrick lets it flow out on d--- it all sounds so natural

    Not to mention Kendrick outdoes Drake on his own style of music with LOVE

    I guess if you wanna take the safe route go with More Life but Kendrick made another classic

    Where does Drake sound like a try hard on More Life?

    Also Drake has at LEAST 10 pop/rnb songs that are better than LOVE.
