    Does anyone else think The Coast is not to far from runnin the rap game right now?
    Or do you think all these drugged out Atlanta rappers gonna keep the rock?

    Compton is easily better than any Drake album with Take Care being the closest. Don't see how you can see this as a let down (to each his own I guess) but those Drake pics in here :sad3:

    West Coast had OF and TDE but both kind of fizzled out. Dre being back for one album and hopefully bringing this to documentary 2 is nice, but not enough to turn the tide. Look at it like this, whose average rappers are doing better? Whose more known, Rich Homie Quan or Casey Veggies, Young Thug or Vince Staples.

    True, but check out the projects LA been droppin'.... TPAB, Compton is sounding very impressive the more I listen to it, YG has Still Krazy coming out, Q in the studio working on his sophomore album. You're right tho. Atlanta is spitting out artists at an unimaginable rate right now... If itshot in the club then you've got a hit/radio sensation.

    Gucci, Quan, Thug, Migos, Peewee, Future, Scooter, etc are all popping and more new cats are coming out everyday. West Coast is more grounded in traditional hip hop but other than that they're not more technically rounded.

    Gucci been in the game.... Only reason I'd keep him in that list is because hes the one that put nearly everyone in atlanta on.

    I didn't understand this post.

    But I've listened to e40 and he's not my cup of tea, plus he's one of those guys who thinks old=better. I'm js that west coast ain't better, they both have their strengths and it comes down to preference
