    you do actually think MMLP2 is better :what22: . generaly everyone likes it because its a great album. There isn't one bad song on it. You sound like a weird Eminem stan. Its Dre first album in 16 years so u can't blame some fans if they are overhyping it.

    When people called TPAB a classic after 2 hours following its release I was like:rockynotimpressed:
    But hey I actually think its a classic. Def my favorite album of 2015.
    I agree, give it time guys. Its been 2 hours.

    Listening to his albums in order you wouldn't expect this to follow up 2001. Surprises and being original and new is always good its just this isn't the case this time. Doesn't have that real Dre feel but I respect you and you're opinion especially since you're looking at it more reasonably.

    We were never going to get a proper follow up. 16 yrs between albums makes it hard to follow the themes of 2001 and at a stretch, Chronic.

    If you look at it as just an album with no comparisons to his two previous projects, it stands on its two feet fairly well.

    things change. 2015 is not 1999. So stop complaining. Be proud you even got a Dre album, I thought the n----- was gonna retire without a last album, lol

    of course it doesn't sound similar to 2001 its 16 years since that release. Dre is 50 now of course its not going to be the same as older album . Use your brain ffs. Sounds like you just wrote off the album after 1 listen because "It doesn't have that Dre feel".

    I cant stand when dudes only give it one listen.
    Alot of my favorite albums I wasn't feeling upon the first listen.

    For f---s sake just be grateful we got one last project from the good doctor. Appreciate it for what it is. The only reason this materialized is due to the SOC movie. I bet if that never happened we wouldn't have gotten anything. Dre just needed something to light the fire in him one last time before the flame died and SOC did exactly that.

    Wait, this album doesn't have a Dre feel? Maybe not all of them but some songs do have that classic Dre sound. And the rest is great too regardless.

    if dre would have released detox in 2004 instead of giving his awesome beats to 50 cent etc.... detox could have been the best hip hop album of all time.

    LLOL NO, the ONLY reason we got this album was the obvious request apple had for buying beats brand.Im ready to bet anything that dr dre had to release at least 1 album on apple music if the sale was to go trough.
    he found the movie release just a perfect time to release this album.
