    LOS ANGELES — Right-wing political commentator Ben Shapiro used Logic and Reason to produce an EDM EP, according to a press release on the Daily Wire, Shapiro’s conservative news website.


    “Digital audio workstations don’t care about your feelings. Apple’s Logic Pro X and Propellerhead’s Reason were the only logical, reasonable choices for my new EDM project,” Shapiro wrote in the announcement. “Let’s look at the facts here: the free market bolsters creativity and competition. And with its innovative rack interface and powerful sequencing features, so does Reason.”

    Shapiro went on to discuss the work he put into the album.

    “Socialism is immoral because it values one person’s labor over another. I don’t need some government-sponsored entitlement program, because Logic Pro’s easy-to-learn tools saved me time, and therefore, money,” claimed Shapiro. “This is why I avoided other software like Ableton: from day one, everyone was saying I should use the program they use, and there’s a word for that — fascism. Furthermore, I will say nothing more about FruityLoops and their FL Studio until their shrill, insane, bedroom-producer user base can have a civil discussion.”

    Shapiro’s surprise album drop has come amongst cries for the long-awaited record by liberal wunderkind Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.


    “I will soon release my debut future disco-house single, ‘Dance the Right Away,’ without relying on Pro Tools or other expensive software and plugins that only the upper class can afford,” jabbed Ocasio-Cortez in an Instagram live stream. “I am producing it like so many hard-working Americans do: with GarageBand, on an outdated laptop. I firmly believe every American has a right to free, pre-packaged audio software.”

    Shapiro’s five-song EDM EP, titled “Facts,” features a star-studded track list, including:

    1. Devil’s Advocate
    2. What About _____ [feat. TCKR CRLSN]
    3. Tonight We Party, Tomorrow We Point Out Obama Was No Saint Either [Tømi Lahren Mix]
    4. When A Strawman Loves A Strawwoman [feat. Kent State Gun Grrl]
    5. My One And Only (Time I Am Pro-choice Is When Cherry-picking Statistics)
    Pitchfork gave the album a harsh 4.6 rating, noting, “Ben Shapiro DESTROYS your eardrums with ‘Facts.’” Shapiro has since challenged Pitchfork to a debate over their review.

    I know I’m hard on eminem a lot but in all serious I’m fine with him. I think he’s probably technically good but I do not enjoy his music in capacity. With that being said, I don’t know what pings off one these guys’ head when they hear an em song that makes them think “I’m going to make REAL hiphop”. Like, I think even he probably thinks that s--- is corny. How are these people so tone deaf?

    Em wins the crown based off the fact that whenever these corny rappers pop up like Dax or Tom Mac Donald or Hopsin, they’re always influenced by em. Marshall is always their number 1. He brings nothing but corniness to the game and the effects will continue to be felt for generations

    I hope you’re trolling. DAX is incredible. He’s a wordsmith and probably one of the best lyricists poppin right now. His flow is also incredible. You should check out his collab with Tech N9ne to see his versatility.

    Tech n9ne has definitely made some great music in the past. No denying he’s talented and can rap his a--- off when he wants to. The whole juggalo thing ruins it for me and his ouput in the last decade has been garbage but you gotta respect the 25+ year grind.

    Even Hopsins got a handful of decent songs tbh but Dax is another level of corny i cant even begin to comprehend. Same goes for Tom MacDonald. They’re Weird Al levels of parody without a hint of awareness at how trash they are.
