Mar 25, 2022 Eminem only has 2 good albums. SSLP and MMLP. Tes was a full pop album for only white people who only listened to Eminem in rap. And Eminem was into his 30s making recycled songs about how his mom use to treat him. Which he admitted when older; most of that was s--- he claimed back then was over exaggerated. The songs didn’t age well from that era and on. Regardless, the Game will always be more respected in the hip hop community than Eminem. All new artists popping off completely clown Eminem’s music from the past 15 years. And the game never made an album as bad as revival. I don’t know any hip hop album as bad as what revival was. I honestly thought I was being trolled the first time trying to listen to that garbage, and was hoping that was a joke project to keep the real album from leaking. What’s sad is, Eminem still won’t admit revival was a complete disaster. He wouldn’t be able to make a good enough diss against the game these days. Now in 1999-2004, I’ll give him props with some of the diss tracks he’d put out. The warning was my last favorite diss track. He used his normal voice and normal flow and was actually pissed off. He just can’t rap like that anymore.

Mar 25, 2022 Idk man, Eminem also has some sensational material that he low-key released on YouTube as an alter ego called “Denice” that stuff really hits home, and ventures down multiple different avenues compared to his studio released material. I strongly advise checking his denice stuff out. Now onto the Game: Game has got two good projects full stop. He copied 50 cents style and ran with it for years, then bit other rappers styles because he cannot be an original artist. He sucks. I used to like the guy, but yh, if it wasn’t for 50, the game would literally be working at a retro sega stall on some low end market in Compton!!!

Mar 25, 2022 I’ll agree that this was the peak of his name, brand. Especially when 8 mile was released and lose yourself played on every other song on the radio back then. The SSLP and MMLP still had a bigger influence on people listening to rap. I know a lot of people who quit listening after tes came out and said it was too pop and watered down. Now that I’m older I understand what they meant. My cousin gave me the TES because he didn’t like it, but was cool to have for in elementary school n everyone would bug you to listen to it. I feel instead of making Devils Night, he should have released a solo album then. His verses and flow were arguably the best then. Along with some diss tracks in that era.

Still no one can deny the game has never made an album as bad as revival. Even you Stan’s know that album was awful. Along with anything released since. That album destroyed any credibility he had left tbh. No hip hop site, the biggest podcasts never even bring up whatever he made since then. You can’t recover from an album that bad that took him 5 years to make.
