    before the movie started, one of the guys who works at the theater did this little trivia/game. basically, he asked the audience to raise their hand for whoever is the biggest tarantino fan. one guy towards the front put his hand up rather quickly and the theater worker asked him to name all of quentins films in order.

    the guy struggled, but he did it. his prize was he got 8 of those booklets---one with each character from the movie in it

    The negative reaction has me hyped tbh, glad to see Tarantino not playing it safe with this one.

    I was expecting this to be kinda s-----y from the trailers, but I was pretty surprised. The dialogue was great (especially the first half of the movie). The cast was really good, including Captain Ron. Goggins was great as I expected. Although he'll never play a better character than Boyd Crowder. This was still probably one of the weakest movies Tarantino has made which isn't putting it down.

    But no @Final this movie is not better than Pulp Fiction lol

    This is the worst movie he's done, s--- was boring and slow af, the last hour was ok though but this was a massive disappointment.

    Not better than Inglourious Basterds but definitely better than Django Unchained.
    Tarantino says he wants to go into to playwriting? Hateful 8 is a good turn in the right direction. The script easily could've been performed on Broadway or London's West End.
    People dissing this film are mostly casuals. Real film/writing fans will appreciate this movie.
