Mr. Me Too Better Call Saul!

    Dec 20, 2014
Sony didnt pull it from theaters. Theaters refused to play it after the threats, so sony cancelled the release all together...AFTER theaters backed out.

Im sure itll make it on the web sooner or later...hopefully sooner

There was still independent theatres that wanted to play it though. They should have just left it for the theatres to decide.

Rumor is Sony will release the movie on Crackle (which is owned by them). I'd be surprised if they went the release it for free route though.

Yeah, I was just reading that. They probably want to make it free because of all this stupid bs.

I mean they'll make something off it from the traffic they get from people watching it on crackle but not nearly as much if they released it on VOD.

I'd think Netflix or HBO would have approached them to buy the rights to releasing the movie too.

I'm sure Netflix will make a move fairly soon.

If I'm not mistaken though, Crackle is owned by Sony, so that's probably why they're thinking of going that route.

I'm guessing all the shows for this are gonna be packed and will sell out quickly since it's been such a big story and is playing in limited theaters, might wanna buy your tickets in advance (something I don't think I've ever done for a movie.) Wish I could see this but don't think it's playing anywhere around here.
