Apr 15, 2025 Good episode. I think the season will be much better than the game story as it translates better as a TV adaptation with how the story goes and all ready filling out details about the plot and characters that the game never did. TV Joel > Game Joel. Acting from Pedro is top notch and has added new layers to the character because of how good of an actor he is.

Apr 15, 2025 For sure, I was waiting for the brick lol I always prefer to use the bricks over the bottles for some reason. I like the references that only people who played the game would get. When the first season came out I was one of the people who never played the games, now I’m the complete opposite side as I have played both games multiple times. It’s entertaining to see my friends’ reactions to stuff when they’ve never played the games and it’s fun to point out the references to them

Apr 21, 2025 I thought this would happen at least halfway through the season. Surprised it happened so quick. That GOT like siege with the infected was pretty sick though. Interesting with the small changes they made like Joel with Dina and Ellie with Jessie. Guess it makes the name reveal better than the game

Apr 21, 2025 I could see that. I was always of the mindset it would happen in episode 1 or 2 It really increased the anxious feeling throughout the episode that led to the Abby scenes. It also should appease those who felt season 1 didn’t have enough infected Yeah, it’s giving Jessie more screen time so they can flesh out his character more than they did in the game and Dina revealing the name makes a lot more sense
Apr 21, 2025 This is how I know you just spew complete bs all the time. What kind of complaint even is this? It’s an adaptation, of course things are going to be similar. But it’s not even a valid complaint because there have been SEVERAL key changes in both episodes. They have already completely changed the whole entire structure of the story. What did you expect them to do, make a whole new story? You either aren’t paying attention or you need to replay the game. Every day you one-up yourself with the re-----tion

Apr 21, 2025 I mean there were a lot of differences. Dina went with Joel instead of Tommy. The village got attacked also which never happened. The pipe with the fungus...Joel killed Eugene. Of course they're gonna follow the main parts of the story so not sure what you were expecting there. I never read the GOT books but everyone who has said they followed the books until the source material ran out
