Mar 3, 2017 Really? I can't recall this from OOT, Majoras Mask, Link to the past, Twilight Princess or Wind Waker. Or wait...maybe OOT because of the fire tunic and water tunic and Majoras Mask with the Goron and Zora mask.
Mar 3, 2017 Yeah I was referring to OoT's fire tunic and water tunic (also in TP I believe) Though I do believe having to wear something for the cold is new, so you're right in a way
Mar 3, 2017 like for example, to go in the cold u need to cook hot peppers , it took me 30min to find out(I had to search the internet). for a while I thought I was doing something wrong and going to the wrong place. people say its about intelligence but how the f--- are you suppose to know that first of all you can cook food with the plate without looking at videos from website like ign etc... food that is going to make you cold resistant. that's why I always had a beef with Zelda, theres no way to know you need to do that without watching trailers or reviews videos.
Mar 3, 2017 Do you collect things? Pick up everything you find. I figured that out first 30 minutes of game because the description of the peppers says "... will raise your body temperature and help you withstand the cold." And they are placed right before the cold area... like... It's not even intelligence... not to mention the Old Man can be found nearby hunting and even tells you how to cook and that you will need peppers...
Mar 3, 2017 Using that knowledge... you can assume making food to give you longer stamina, stealth, hearts, etc based off item descriptions of monster drops is going to be important. I'm sure there is going to be a cliff that needs to be climbed and you can't with the default stamina, so you will probably need to make a stamina potion for the extra boost/time. Keep that in mind
Mar 3, 2017 The handheld mode for Switch runs and looks really really good. Like surprisingly good. When it's placed in the dock, it runs at 1080p and has some long distance texture issues and has fps issues. I can only imagine the WiiU. I can look at the same spot with handheld and docked and the handheld has so much more detail and color. This game is definitely handheld material for 720 resolution. Sucks they did WiiU dirty and I'm not sure why Zelda runs at 1080p when it hurts the fps on the Switch. They need to bump it down or give the option
Mar 3, 2017 thanks man, btw I have 117 of iq. I just don't take those games seriously enough. I know I should but I prefer to google the solution most of the time cause I didn't pay attention to clues. its one of the reason I prefer games like tomb raider or uncharted 4. you don't really need to pay attentions to boring clues. Zelda is still good but the fps drop..... better controls , more tips and 60 fps locked would have made this an amazing game imo.
Mar 3, 2017 The controls were weird for a bit but you get used to it and it flows pretty well for combat so I see why they are mapped the way they are. It's muscle memory that gives us issues... Nintendo didn't just do the typical control scheme like most games use
Mar 3, 2017 oh and btw, it took me 45min-1h to install my download of the game on the wii u then an other 40min to install the patch(wtf). this is so unacceptable. f--- you Nintendo!. cant believe their new console is barely more powerful than the wii u. time to short Nintendo stocks imo.
Mar 4, 2017 Do you live in a cave? Probably just wiiu issues man, I don't even remember the game installing, that's how fast it was and the patch was instant. Though I have psychical but wtf lol. Like 2 mins total for both.. You realize download speeds are dependent on you right
Mar 4, 2017 yes install it, it took 2h before that to download from eshop. are you a Nintendo apologist?
