Mar 4, 2017 So.. Once again, you did download it, no I'm someone trying to decipher your idiotic statements in this thread. Everything you've complained about is user error
Mar 4, 2017 So yesterday, I went to pick up a Switch and this Game, and I s--- you not, every single store in Arkansas that sells video games were sold out, I went to several and then called the rest, every video game store in Arkansas, sold the fluck out. Guess that's what I get for not pre-ordering.
Mar 5, 2017 Alright some updates after about 15 hours in no story spoilers here just main game minor spoilers and I mean that as in gameplay stuff: Cooking - You'll want to get into some cooking. I suggest ot eating fruits or meat raw as it will only bring back about half a heart or so. If you cook it it will double that. You also can mix things together. Such as you could mix apples with veggies for a fruit vegetable plate. I've been messing around with it and have made some pretty hearty dishes. If you want to make elixirs you'll want to keep your Bokoblin and enemy parts to use these with stat boosting traits. If you add in more of the material with the stat boosting you'll get more time with that stat. I think the baseline is a 1:20 (one minute, 20 seconds) of an increase per item you have. I'm pretty certain 5 items comes to 7:30 of a stat increase though because that's what I had when I cooked spicy peppers to reach the cold area at the Great Plateau. Merchants - There are merchants in the game. Once you venture out into Hyrule and reach Kakariko Village you'll come across merchants. Some sell food, some sell jewels. I have yet to come across a weapons merchant though. The main thing I've noticed with merchants is that they seem to buy any of your items for the same price. It doesn't seem to matter if I want to sell my old clothes to a person selling me food or someone selling me actual clothes. It's the same price to get. If you really want to gain some rupees, simply ook a ton of dishes and sell them. The average cooked mushroom dish I think goes for 10 rupees. Make 10 of those and you got 100 bucks. Weapons - Weapons are starting to get better for me, which is great. THey don't break down as much as before. If you see any unusual rocks or flowers go investigate. You may find a Korok. On the way to Kakariko village there's a giant Korok that will upgrade your slots for a Korok seed. Keep in mind you can only upgrade 2 of your three slots and it only adds 1 slot. I upgrade my weapons and bows, I should have upgraded my shields but oh well. Blood Moon - Every so often, when midnight approaches you'll start to see the screen go red and chunks of what look like twilight begin to occur. Then a minor cut scene is shown. You her Zelda saying it's the Blood Moon, hurry Link hurry. The Blood Moon resets all former foes that you have defeated. Basically it repopulates the world again. This isn't the worst idea though because it also seems to re stock the weapons that alo were around. For example, I broke my wood cutters axe. When the Blood moon occurred I went back to the Great Plateau and all of a sudden the woodcutters axe was where I found it originally! So you may want to open your map and use the stamps to mark where high power weapons are (I haven't done this but thought about it afterwards). I'm not sure if resting each night nullifies the blood moon or not. I have't tried this out. EDIT: Saw on gamefaqs that it WILL still happen if you sleep. Stuttering and jaggies? - On my Wii U I haven't really experienced much if any stuttering or jaggies. When I first got to Kakariko stables there was a slight slow down. But there's nothing gamebreaking and the slow down lasts about a second or so. If you're hearing people saying the slow down is absolutely game breaking to me they must be super picky. It's been fluid as h--- for me. My friend that got the game and has played about the same amount of hours as me has said he has't experienced any slow down at all. I've experienced it twice so far. 1 at the beginning of the game when panning my camera a top a tree in the great plateau and then the second time at Kakariko stables for half a second. Impressed or not? - I'm thoroughly impressed with the game. It's held me to play about 15 hours over the past 2 days which is rare for me to do with a game. The last time I had a game like that was Skyrim back on my PS3. There are times where I'll just be exploring and go hmmm maybe I should just stop or do something else but I keep continuing to play. Exploring and finding new enemies is great. I fought a one eyed giant called a Henox yesterday in a swamp area that was exhilarating. So far I'm impressed with it!
Mar 6, 2017 Clearly a 10/10 game but I just do not have the time for these sorts of games anymore. There's more to do in this game than irl
Mar 6, 2017 This game is the 4th highest rated game in history. And ocarina of time is #1 https://www.google.com/amp/www.poly...8/zelda-breath-of-the-wild-best-reviewed-game This should be banner. Nintendo just made history..... again
Mar 6, 2017 I think this makes 5 nintnedo games in the top ten of all time . Well it was already 5, but BOTW displaced metroid prime to 11th Some games occupied multiple slots over different platforms, so i had to cut some fat (f---ing GTA games) 1. OOT (nintendo) - 99 2.Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 (holy f--- this is fun, but 3 was better) - 98 3. GTAIV (doesn't belong here imo) 4. BOTW 5. Soul Caliber 6. Mario Galaxy - 97 7. Mario Galaxy 2 (better than the original, but slightly lower rated) 8. GTAV (better than IV) 9. Pro Skater 3 (better than 2) 10. Perfect Dark (Nintendo) 11. Metroid Prime (Nintendo) But these metascores can renegade games that easily belong in a certain tier and prop up games that really don't belong. e.g SSB4 (wii u version ofc) and Final Fantasy 7 are both just 9.2. yet GTAIV somehow cracks the top 10 and above GTAV.
Mar 6, 2017 Im so pissed off at life . I bought a Wii u a few years ago for this Zelda game. I ended up saying f--- it because of push backs and selling my Wii u. Lol
Mar 6, 2017 How does this compare to OOT and MM from the 64. And this console will have a Super Mario 64 follow up??? I might go pick this system up tonight if this is the case.
Mar 6, 2017 I have yet to play it, but from the review's I'm seen on YouTube and all the comments I've been reading its the best Zelda game to date. But don't be surprised if the switch is sold out for awhile.
Mar 7, 2017 Only played about 20 min of this so far cuz I was on vacation and now have to head outta the house already but looking forward to playing more tonight!
Mar 7, 2017 What is going to be the best way for me to get a Switch console my March 24th. Sold out everywhere near me. Need advice badly. Thank you!
Mar 7, 2017 Check craigslist. I seen some on there around my area. You will have to pay more for it that way though.
Mar 7, 2017 I did. I found one for 269 but then got to my cart and they said f--- you we don't have it lol. Everything else I see is way above retail. Want to get for my little brother when he stays with us for spring break but at also don't want to pay way above retail and that's all I saw on Amazon.
Mar 7, 2017 i think just keep an eye out for amazon, hopefully they'll get a re-stock soon. the canadian amazon has some in stock, not sure if you can ship to USA through them. i've bought things on the USA amazon and shipped to canada before tho
Mar 7, 2017 If you have a Twitter account start following FatKidDeals. They'll keep you updated if any store has them in stock as soon as they get in.
