    That happens all the time homeboy. Cept it doesnt even necessarily have to be shooting and beating. They f--- with people. There's the unwarranted search & seizures. The illegal detainments.

    You remember the stop and frisk program in NYC? You think that WASNT made to target minorities?

    If you need more proof this is related to race: The police arrived at the convenience store in response to an anonymous tip about a threatening man in the parking lot. According to the store's owner, Sterling was not that man--but the BPD treated him as a threat from the jump. Do you think that happens with a white guy in an LSU sweater vest?

    Not saying I did though. Yes, there are racial intricacies, but these intricacies are less of a problem than the bigger issue of police abusing power, which is a universal problem. I think the focus on the issue should be more on the power dynamic with the police than framing specific instances with racial context. It could be because the guy was black, or it could be because the guy was an ex criminal and they thought they could get away with it. Less publicized or brought to light are instances when white people are killed by police.

    I'm not familiar with the ultra-specifics of american culture, but i am very familiar with issues of police in brutality and community disputes with law enforcment.

    It's a way of pushing the real issue to the side by trying to convince people he deserved to die or he had it coming. Doesn't matter who you are in a situation like this. The only thing that matters is how the cops and the victim acted in this isolated incident.

    It's hard being a right winger sometimes. Especially when people try to justify this s---. f---ing bootlickers. Wish Americans would realize cops shouldn't be so aggressive like they aren't supposed to be these militarized group of badasses wbo can k--- anyone. Police by default are an institution of violence, you don't abide by laws they will threaten you or hurt you, even k--- you.
