Jul 7, 2016 Police officers apparently getting shot at in downtown Dallas tonight, one of them down on the ground. This is craziness, they think someone has a rifle. Found it from a journalist on Twitter, Rachel Chazin.
Jul 7, 2016 For those who don't know what i mean. When police safety is brought into question, you justify militarizing them more. Meaning the result of police getting shot at is heavier body armor and assault rifles given to them.

More violence against cops. More cops who are fearful of black citizens. More of these unjustifiable killings. That's the logic of escalation. It's completely predictable. This is going to continue to get worse.

Jul 10, 2016 Turns out they got pulled over cuz they matched the description of an armed robbery suspect from 4 days earlier, had nothing to do with the tail light. The gun was apparently also on his left thigh, not in it's holster although that's not confirmed. He's also gotten pulled over at least 52 times by police. He also may not have had a conceal permit like his girlfriend said. although...
Jul 10, 2016 yeah they pulled over Castille because the alleged robber matched his description and they both had newport cigarettes. So the cop did a great job of racial profiling which isnt supposed to be policy.
