I've become very disenchanted with politics, but I will say this... There is dirt on the Clinton family and any race between a feverish republican and Hillary is going to be amusing.

That dirt (the stuff that isn't loony conspiracy theory nonsense) was aired out in the 90s.
If they go with that kind of old news it would backfire- Bill is the most popular living political figure in the country, and Hillary is one of the highest as well.
Dragging up stuff from the 90s is just going to remind people of Bill's Presidency. Would be particularly bad mojo if Bush is the nominee.

i vote strictly republican, these potential candidates are awful. could never vote for someone with the last name bush, and romney needs to give up already. used to consider myself a democrat, but im not for welfare handouts. democrats love giving the african american community welfare assistance in exchange for voting democrat. its amazing the amount of race baiting the obama administration has done since ferguson. he would have never done that in his first term

seems like all of the repub nominees are going to knock each other out in the primaries since they're gonna have to campaign pretty hard to even get on the ballot

Pretty sure Romney is much more liked than Obama right now. Regardless, Hilary probably ranks as one of the most UNLIKABLE candidates the Dems have to offer. Would love to see Warren get the nomination strictly for her economic agenda. Would never win though.

Isn't a two party system an illusion of democracy? Better than 1 party I guess

Considering he was the only significant Republican voice to approve a minimum wage increase is a good step forward.

Lol, Hillary consistently polls as one of the most admired, respected, and well-like political figures of either party.

Until she speaks. She polled higher than Obama until it was clear how unlikable she really was. The high support for Hilary I think also comes from buyers remorse of Obama

if that were the case you'd think she wouldn't be polling 15 points ahead of Romney

I'm talking about her support among Democrats. And yes. Romney is barely in the race. The entire Republican base is split. Polls this far out mean s---.

K this is my fault for not wording myself properly. Hilary's support from the Dems comes from buyers remorse about Obama.

The Republican base is split and the election is so far out that polling on that side of the democratic isle is pointless. And I also think you're playing dumb here if you think for a second that Hilary is as likable as Obama. Both Bill Clinton and the President are light years ahead of her with likablitily and you know that.

I understand your wording. But what you are saying makes no sense. There is not buyers' remorse among Dems because Obama has near universal support from Dems. Bill and Obama are both more likeable than Hillary, but she's viewed by both Democrats and the larger voting population as pretty likeable. You said she was one of the most unlikeable candidates around, which isn't shown by the polling, and Bill and Barack are not able to run again.
Democrats like Hillary because she may be the person in the country who is most clearly qualified to be President, she is in a strong electoral position to win, and many are excited about having a woman for President.
Attributing it to buyers' remorse is saying something that doesn't have any evidence supporting it
