Glad to see Cruz hasn't been welcomed into the race by fellow conservatives. So sick of these uncompromising losers.

Guess we have to add Carly Fiorina to the mix, not that it will make any difference

What's this new tell-all Clinton book that is about to drop?

Could this perhaps cause trouble for Hilary's run at president?

No. They did this with Obama, too. Going to be the same old bs and conspiracy theories we've heard for the past 20+ years

None of them seem to be, but it is early. Of course those debates in summer 2011 were amazing. RNC cutting debates for that very reason.

Was pretty great seein Obama son Walker...

and he's vowed not to run for President and his Senate seat at the same time, setting up an open seat race in a swing state with Presidential turnout.
seems like a bad idea to me, particularly for someone who is currently polling 7th out of the GOP clown car

I think he's got a lot of room to grow though...I consider Rubio a top tier candidate, at least at the moment

we'll have to see how it shakes out, but I wouldn't be surprised if there is less of a top tier of candidates and more of a revolving door of not-Bushes, similar to the dynamic we saw with Romney's challengers in 2012. I think the question ends up being if any of them manage to take down the establishment pick unlike Romney's foes

Bush WISHES he had numbers like Romney's....tbh I think it's silly to be considering him a front runner at this point. He has a lot of work to do

yeah, but he's been steady, and has some obvious establishment/institutional advantages similar to Romney.
As for the others, Carson surged, then Walker surged, then Cruz announced and surged, at the expense of Walker and Carson. If Rubio gains support, it is likely going to come at the expense of Walker and Cruz. I don't think that Rubio's relatively moderate stance on immigration wins him many Bush voters who might support him for the same reason (or are voting for him in spite of that issue)
If Bush collapses, we might see someone like a Walker or a Rubio benefit because of a veneer of moderation (similar to John McCain's rise from the grave in 2008 after Biden wrecked Giuliani forever) but if Bush runs a disciplined campaign, it is going to take a candidate who can unite the splintered loyalties of the voters who oppose him long enough to capture some momentum.
The problem in 2012 wasn't that Romney was so strong, it was that the large group supporting him was broken up into many camps. It will take, in my opinion, an Obama-style insurrection among Republicans where one of the tea-flavored candidates gets a big win (probably in New Hampshire rather than Iowa) that gives them an air of viability that coalesces the non-establishment support.
Otherwise you end up with the big money that isn't already with Bush going from candidate to candidate, trying to pick the horse that can come from behind after the race is already underway.
I still think that Walker is the likeliest of them to be able to manage such a feat, and I don't think Rubio is particularly well-suited to do so.
