    I don't think voting is going to be delayed for 4 months, tbh!

    wait, am I reading this right - you DON'T think Democrats are moving left? I don't see how you can make this argument. A not-insignificant number of Dems are campaigning on Medicare For All. That was unthinkable as recently as four or five years ago

    the democrats are a spineless, ineffectual party on the national level. but acting like there’s not a massive, material difference between the parties is stupid and ahistorical.

    Yes I’m a bit nervous. Dems are favored to win the house (80%+) & underdogs to win the senate (~15%). All in all, I’d be very happy with winning the house + winning a bunch of governorships (Dems are also favored to do well here). Confidence interval for all these races are pretty big though. It shouldn’t surprise anyone if Dems made gains in the house but fell just short of the majority. That’s what I’m most scared of: not winning back the senate & picking up seats in the house but not getting a majority.
