Nov 5, 2018 Libertarianism always seemed weird to me.. like you’re for social justice but support economic policies that further disenfranchise the group(s) of people you’re supposedly standing up for?
Nov 5, 2018 Oh, you mean like people who say they support the troops and Trump??? Taxes support our troops and Trump pays none, so therefore he could give 2 f---s less about our troops.
Nov 5, 2018 I trust no one. It's 2018, we should be able to vote for every decision, not just a figure making a decision for millions of people.
Nov 5, 2018 I used to think like this and I'm still all aboard the "vote on issues, not people" train in a vacuum but it's like how do we figure out what gets on ballots and what doesn't? Like if 3 million trolls want to legalize murder does that make it on the ballot? lol It'd definitely take an entirely different system but it'd be cool if we could figure it out. I f--- with referendums
Nov 5, 2018 So there would be a ballot for every law? Do you realize how time consuming and costly that would be?
Nov 5, 2018 a vigorous public sector is the best way to ensure everyone's voice is heard. libertarianism is for teenagers who want to smoke weed but are cool with private prisons.
Nov 5, 2018 i'm on the side of reasonable things like prison reform, access to healthcare, affordable housing, guillotines, etc
Nov 5, 2018 I'm really just on the side of getting rid of the 2 party and electoral college bs. There is no one party that represents your total ideals..get real.
Nov 5, 2018 of course neither of these parties is any good –– one is spineless and ineffectual and the other is unchecked evil. but libertarianism is not...anything. it's childish.
Nov 5, 2018 As im finnish it seems so weird that none of these things have been implemented yet man america gets weirder every time i learn something about it
Nov 5, 2018 I dunno if Enigma's nervous or not but I am. Lot on the line tomorrow, I'm not too confident.
