still happy about president Trump. 401k has gone up, my taxes have lowered on my paycheck giving me more money, and stock market is looking good.

His approval rating is sitting in the low 40s on average lol. Highest mark since May which I guess you can celebrate for despite the fact that his approval rating is still lower than the last 12 presidents up to this point.

I think there's a good chance it's at least in the mid 40s. We'll see who's right soon enough.

(Do you really think Hillary's would be any better lol)

Probably. I don’t imagine Hillary would be ranting her frustrations of the FBI/her cabinet members via Twitter. She also wouldn’t be calling African/Latin American countries, “s--- hole countries.” So yeah, I think her approval rating would be a bit better. Probably not very good compared to past presidents either though.

Over the last year we have lost the world leadership role we have held since WWII.

She's literally blamed everyone under the sun for her loss but herself: the DNC, the FBI, Comey, Putin, Obama, Julian Assange, Bernie Sanders and his supporters, Jill Stein and her supporters, her own supporters, "white people," misogynists, “fake news,” the New York Times — and has told any middle/working class white individual that they're deplorable and irredeemable. You don't think this kind of behavior would have carried into her presidency? You don't think she'd be leading us into unpopular wars right now? Trump probably never even made the “shithole” comment. It was probably just a crude embellishment of what he actually said. But it doesn't matter anyway. Don't blame him for Haiti's problems:

Jesus, America has never owned the world. WTF. This is a long debate on what our level of involvement should be, but there is not doubt we were better off when we were taking the lead instead of being laughed at by every first world country.

The world never had an owner... it's had leaders.

Leaders in the way of human rights and other morals.

Yup, this is the never ending argument. When the U.S. is the global leader, we reap the benefits of geopolitical influence & tons of allies willing to work with us to achieve goals. On the other end, we often get tangled in a lot of foreign affairs that many people believe we don’t belong in. It’s a difficult trade-off to find middle ground in. Like @reservoirGod said though, I think the globe is better off with the U.S. leading rather than China or Russia. With all its faults, it’s the lesser of the three evils you could say.

    In other news, this happened:

Even if trump doesn’t get indicted in all this, at the bare minimum, it tells us trump hired a bunch of shady criminals to run his campaign which is a bad look regardless lol.

You don't think there'd be at least an equal amount of dirt to be found by a fishing expedition into Hillary's team? You forget that one of the first fruits of the Mueller probe was Manafort doing shady stuff with Tony Podesta.

Hillary’s entire personal & political life has been looked at/investigated, endlessly. From Bill’s affair to Benghazi to emails, etc. I’m talking special counsel investigations, FBI investigations, congressional investigations. Clinton’s life is pretty much an open book. Republicans made sure to leave no stone unturned.

Yes and we all know how slimy she is. And it's no stretch to suppose she surrounds herself with people who are just as slimy.
