So can we agree trump wants to be an authoritarian now that he’s literally said it or we just gonna continue to act like it’s nothing?

Have you took in account that the Democrats have flipped 39 legislative seats from red to blue since Trump was elected in 2016 in special elections and odd year elections, while the Republicans have flipped 0 seats from blue to red and barely held on to slim victories in deep red districts that haven't had Democratic representation in several decades?


Now midterms usually favor Republicans because of single issue Pro-Life and 2nd Amendment voters... but the midterms always favor the opposition party more than anything else... it's obvious that Democrats are more motivated than they have been since at least 2008... maybe even more...



You like to think of 2016 as a landslide victory for Trump and the Republicans... but Trump got 3 million less votes than Hillary and the Republican Senate Candidates got 11 million votes less than the Democratic candidates... the Democrats appear to be way more motivated this year.



When Jeff Sessions won his Senate seat in 2014 with 97% of the vote it was unfathomable that a Democrat would hold it in 2018.

The only way your 401k tripled since Trump took office would be if you started paying into it a few months before that.

The Dow rose +25% during Trump's first year in office and that is great... even better than Obama's first year in 2009 when it rose +19%... but not quite as good as during the Obama economy in 2013 when it rose +27%... were you sucking Obama's d-ck over the stock market then?

So far this year for 2018 the Dow is down -2% and most economists agree Trump's trade war with China is probably going to destroy the indexes so remember this time when you think that stock market is such a huge plus.

For the middle class Trump's passed tax break is about the same as the one Obama passed in the 2009 Recovery and Reinvestment Act... did you s--- Obama's d-ck over that temporary tax cut, too?

What actions specifically are they referring to? Is there some crime he committed or some scandal that I don't know about? If they mean his behavior, offending people is not a crime.

Hillary Clinton on the other hand showed complete disregard for America's national security and provably broke the law in doing so, yet Comey began drafting his exoneration statement months before interviewing her and key witnesses. If that's not a rigged investigation I don't know what is.

There's nothing wrong with that statement. Notice CNN's dishonesty in twisting his words to fit the narrative that he's some kind of aspiring despot. He said "Maybe we'll have to give that a shot some day," meaning at some point the United States — and not even necessarily under Trump's leadership — failing “democracy” might try adopting a different form of government. People on both sides of the aisle are after all losing faith in our so-called democratic system, including CNN themselves. Some think that a libertarian dictatorship could arguably work as long as the person in charge is benevolent and not abusive.

The CNNs of the world are the real authoritarians. They're the ones who support heavy-handed censorship.

This is up there with one of your most delusional posts yet. “Failing democracy” was not even hinted at within the context of this conversation. Trump was talking about the president of china’s consolidation of power & pushing to becoming a authoritarian/dictator. Any president who see’s a foreign leader undermining democracy & goes “that’s great! Maybe we should try that.” has aspirations to do the same.

Well, when he's talking about a “rigged system,” then yeah, it can pretty much be reasonably inferred.

At least in theory, a dictatorship isn't necessarily bad or authoritarian per se. It just depends on the leader honestly.

Hilariously if Trump had run as a Democrat, none of these people would be calling him a racist. They'd be looking back at the awards he got for helping inner-city black neighborhoods and say "Racist? What are you talking about? He can't possibly be, because he's helping and employing minorities.”
