I said the comments he made aren’t evidence of some bigger plot. But in his own words he clearly shows his admiration for the idea of eternal presidency. It doesn’t really get much more un-American than “president for life”

It's incredible how weak your arguments are, @Enigma. None of these points stands up to fair-minded scrutiny.

1. Wanting to bringing back the death penalty isn't racist, unless you were proposing that only black criminals be put to death.

2. Questioning someone's birth certificate is not, in itself, evidence of racism. The fact that the person in question happens to be half black is neither here nor there, just politically convenient for you.

3. Limiting gun sales to people on no-fly lists and terror watch lists isn't racial profiling.

4. The “shithole” comment remains uncorroborated and again:

He doesn't personally manage every single building. That's not the way he does business. He delegates it to others, so if someone else is making a poor decision he doesn't necessarily know about it for some years to come. That's a potential problem within larger business.

Trump is not bigoted. He doesn't care what race you are. If he can make money in some way he doesn't care who he works with. He's not the one using wedge issues based on race. “Illegal immigrant” is not a racial category. Neither is “terrorist” or “criminal.” The only people over the last couple of decades who have used racial issues predominantly have been people on the so-called left. “Oh, look! This white candidate said something 50 years ago, therefore they hate black people.”

That isn’t simply a pro-death penalty ad. Trump published that ad at the time of the Central Park jogger case. In that case, 4 black men & one Hispanic man were accused of raping & assaulting a white woman. Despite DNA evidence from the r--- kit not matching any of the suspects, they were convicted & Donald Trump was one of the most vocal supporters for them receiving the death penalty. Till this day, even after the actual perpetrator confessed to the crime & the five men being vacated, Donald Trump still thinks they did it. He even wrote a short opinion piece calling NYC’s settlement with the 5 men wrongly convicted a “disgrace.”

In context of Obama being the first African-American President & the fact that from the very beginning, this was obviously a wild-goose chance. There was never any merit to this theory of Obama being born outside the U.S. I’m sure you believed it at some point too though so not surprised you’re ok with this.

Uhhh he openly advocated in the video for racial profiling. He called it [using] “common sense.” You walk across the street whenever you see a black person walking towards you huh?

Actually, multiple senators, both republican & democrats have corrobated this remark. The White House didn’t even deny the remarks.

You're the only one bringing up race though. Seems like an unhealthy preoccupation to me.

This is not a clear-cut case. Many people have their doubts about the “official” story, and not all of them are virulent racists.

He has enemies within his own party. They're called Never-Trump Republicans. People hate. People lie. The White House doesn't have time to come out and officially deny every little thing that is alleged against Trump, but Trump himself denied the remarks.

Senator David Perdue also plausibly denied them.

The DNA taken from the r--- kit did not match any of the original 5 suspects. The guy who admitted to the attack/r---; his DNA matched with the DNA obtained through the r--- kit. He also provided specifics of the attack that only the person who committed the crime would know. There is no fuzz or confusion on this — those five men were wrongly convicted & coerced to admitting to a crime they did not commit. Anyone who argues otherwise is delusional & yes, I would suspect of having some type of racial resentment.

Yeah except trump dragged this theory on for years, well beyond the 08 election. This wasn’t a political attack, it was personal. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that the first African-American President was hit with conspiracies of legitimacy. Again, there was never ANY merit to this theory & Trump led charge on it.

There is no context you can put that quote in that makes it any better. Advocating for racial profiling is racist. Claiming it’s using “common sense” is even more racist.

That’s precisely what the White House does every single week. They have a press secretary for that very reason. They did not deny the comments. Senators from both parties admitted to hearing the remarks. He said them.

No & I never claimed this comment on its own proved trump was racist. It’s this comment combined with everything else I mentioned.

The fact that he systematically discriminated against people of color to prevent them from renting his apartments in the 70's and 80's should be proof enough for anyone and disqualified him from the Presidency....

He seemed to become a fairly normal person and not very racist in the mid 2000's during the start of The Apprentice... but if you can't tell that the election of Barack Obama as POTUS hadn't caused him to become a Fox News Racist... I don't know what to tell you.

Probably this theory was borne out of the widespread observation that Obama cared and did more for foreigners than he did American citizens, even his fellow black Americans. There were even rumblings that he was an anti-Christian Muslim (at least his father was a Muslim, and under Islamic law, if you are born to a Muslim father, you're Muslim until you convert out of Islam). These ideas weren't based on his race alone. He was a shifty character and an internationalist.

You still haven't proven that he was advocating for racial profiling.

They don't address every single fake clickbait news story, nor would they have the time to.

You're going to need more than “senators from both parties.” Two other senators say they don't recall the remarks. If you don't have a transcript or a recording, you have no proof beyond hearsay.

Except there's nothing to combine it with besides hearsay and your own prejudiced speculation. You're a hater.
