Absolutely terrifying & disgusting to hear from a U.S. President. Seems like Trump is getting some influence from his buddy Rodrigo Duterte. He praised the Filipino president last year for stopping the drug problem in the Philippines. Duterte put together death squads & began executing suspected d--- dealers in the streets. One of the many authoritarians trump seems to look up to & is influenced by.

Pretty much what I thought lol. He made this decision to get a friendly headline from the press & really couldn’t care less if the meeting happens.

The president also made this comment yesterday:

This is the measured & disciplined statesman that we have to trust to negotiate nuclear peace.

He also attacked yet another high profile African-American figure:

As well as a high-profile white American figure..in the same sentence: "And that is why we have to beat Nancy Pelosi and Maxine Waters..."

But I guess black politicians are above criticism, because of slavery or something.

He didn’t claim Nancy Pelosi was a “low IQ individual.” He simply said his party had to defeat her in the upcoming PA election & midterms which is fine. That’s politics. The personal attacks on Waters intelligence is what’s troublesome.

In other news, Trump fired Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson:

Trump didn’t even personally talk to Tillerson & let him know the reasoning behind firing him. Trump gave this reasoning to reporters:

Sounds like he wants to surround himself with yes-men.

She's clearly a moron though. It's not her blackness that makes her a moron, it's the things she says.

Tillerson will probably have to give Putin's friendship necklace back too, since he said what's obvious about Russia poisoning the Brits.

Yeah, if you lie by omission in order to make it look like he disproportionately criticizes black people.

Your view of racism is archaic. Racism today is not the same as racism 40-50+ years ago. It’s subtle & low key usually spewed through forms of dog whistles. Taking a picture with a black person doesn’t disqualify someone from being racist. I’ve documented trump’s racist history here:

You could also throw this in here:

No, you can't, because I've already debunked those.

"Frankly, it'd be wonderful if you could develop it, but I'm not so sure you can” isn't something a serious eugenicist would say.

At any rate, people talk about having “good genes” all the time, and it's not always meant in a racial sense. For example, a full sibling might say something like, “My brother got the bad genes while I got the good genes” if that sibling is healthier, smarter, more talented, etc.

If you're inferring a racialist point of view in the case of Trump's remarks, that's also unremarkable. There's nothing wrong with being proud of your heritage. It's called ethnocentrism and it's common among all peoples. It's not suddenly “racist” if a white person is proud of their German ancestry. What, is he supposed to feel guilty about it?

You actually didn’t lol not one.

Trump doesn’t simply talk about “having good genes” lol. He continuously attributes his “intellect” & success to having good genes. He thinks people are either born smart or stupid based on their genes. For him, the German blood in his genes are what make him smart. There’s a long history of this line of thinking that goes back to nazism & even before that. It’s rooted in racism, discrimination & genocide. Hence why the sciencetific community doesn’t accept this nonsense anymore not that Trump cares or is scientifically literate.

Racism is always and will always be the same thing, someone thinking another race is inferior

Him talking s--- about certain african americans is not something racist, you could have a point about the other s--- I haven't really looked into it but someone talking s--- about someone who is black is not a racist thing to do

You really come off as one of those stupid kids we all knew in elementary school who would yell "that's racist" whenever you mention the word "black"

I’m taking into account everything else, not just the fact that Trump has a habit of attacking high profile African-Americans. If you’re unaware of his documented history of using dog whistles & saying racist s--- then yeah, of course yoy’re going to shrug this off. Trump was literally sued in the 70s by the federal government for racial discrimination at his housing developments in New York.

Also, racism is not the same. Black people aren’t being lynched anymore, does that mean racism has vanquished? No. You don’t see very many white people openly calling black people the n-word anymore, does that mean racism is gone? No. As a society, we’ve progressed & made these practices illegal and/or morally wrong. That’s made racism to become much more subtle & low key. Racists use key words/dog whistles to get their point across so that way they can brush off accusations of racism as nonsense. You see it all the time. A promienent one is of African-American protestors on conservative news outlets constantly being referred to as “thugs.”

Yeah, thank god republicans continue to cater the NRA so they can keep their wallets full for re-election. If a few dozen more kids have to die at their expense so be it!

In other news, the special election in PA18 right now is too close to call. The democratic candidate Conor Lamb is up by a couple hundred votes with a few thousand absentee ballots left to count. This is a district trump won by 20 percentage points in 2016 & a Democrat could possibly win this seat.
