And it’s really not that complicated. Impeachment is a political process, not a legal one. Congress could start the impeachment process right now & there is very little Trump could do legally besides weather the storm & hope for the best or resign.

Just for the record, I think it’s much more likely for Trump to be impeached for obstruction of justice than conspiracy with the Russians. There’s much more evidence on that end against him than there is with the Russia angle.

Putin is a murderous monster? Russia is effectively a dictatorship. You’re foolish if you think anyone besides Putin has a serious chance of winning the presidency. Their entire election process is already crooked — no amount of shaming Putin would do anything to alter the outcome. Putin will stop being president when he wants to stop being president.

Also, I find it hilarious the chauvinist gun-loving American is defending Putin’s attacks on our democracy because his dislike for a politician is greater than his dislike for an American foe. I understand the logic behind why Putin would meddle in U.S. elections. The U.S.-Russia have been rivals going back to the Cold War. However, as an American, i’m not ok with it at all & you shouldn’t be either.

Their system is crooked lol. The kremlin controls who can run in these elections. If they don’t want you to run, they push you out through means of false allegations, charges, etc. or they’ll just k--- you. Look no further than the Russian official turned British spy who turned up dead a couple weeks ago in the U.K. Also there’s massive voter fraud in Russia.

Any citizen can run for national office if over 18 (House, Senate) and some local elections have no age requirement.
