This isn’t true.

A vast majority of the difficulties trans people go through are social. They have difficulties feeling accepted by society & because of that they tend to struggle with mental illness. Nonetheless, them being able to be who they are does improve their general well-being when ignoring outside factors. It’s how society responds to it that’s the issue.

I knew this was going to be your retort lol. I usually don’t read the huffingtonpost but the article cites various academic studies. The study that shows improvement of life among trans people who have surgery is right here. Not that you actually care though. I’m willing to bet you’ve never even met a trans person before let alone talked to one about their experiences being transgender.

I can't be alone in thinking just how in the middle I am. Both parties are complete s---. I can't stomach the leftist SJWs(who hate me btw because I'm a white male) that have taken over the Democratic party and I sure as f--- can't stand the slack-jawed, Bible-Thumping r----- Trump zealots.

I hate both parties and just how extreme they are. I really, really miss Obama and his era.

I don’t mind the Democratic Party getting more progressive but the thought of Bernie and/or Cory Booker running in 2020 makes me sick. Fully expecting a hard push from the progressive branch of the Democratic Party for one of those two come primaries.

I see the Obama era as a precursor to and (at least in its current form) a necessary condition for the SJW, anti-white male era that we're experiencing now. Chalking up his low approval to the "hidden racism" of white people in his second term wasn't helpful, especially when they voted for him in droves in the first place, and celebrating the year white people will no longer be a majority in their own country (~2050) was plain disturbing. Not to mention we have the man himself to thank for this absurd conversation we were just having about sex change surgery coverage. Setting race relations back decades and making transgender rights a civil rights issue was his idea of “progress,” and the SJW progressives have adopted these issues to a fanatical level. (As the saying goes, “JFK wanted to send a man to the moon. Obama wanted to send a man to the ladies room.”)

Meanwhile Trump, a Manhattan business liberal, is about as middle of the road as you can get. He basically represents an older version of neoliberalism back when Democrats still had some sanity left, and I think his more lukewarm supporters understand this. He only looks extreme if you take all the media hype at face value and assume he's the polar opposite to the SJWs when at the end of the day he's really just a mild reformer.

Yeah, I saw from snap chats from friends that a ton of people came out. Not surprised, San Franciscans & the Bay Area in general usually show up in numbers to events like this. You should look up photos of the pride parade after gay marriage was legalized....holy.

It’s irritating because congressional leaders should be hammered with questions when legislation like this gets passed under the table. We’ll likely never hear anything from Mitch McConnel or Paul Ryan about this.
