The most recent Rasmussen poll has trump at 47% approval, not 50%. His average approval rating among all major pollsters, like I said, is in the high 30s/low 40s. Rasmussen tends to lean more conservative so it’s a bit higher. Either way, the tweet you posted isn’t accurate.

Nah, I'm just not buying the whole "when someone says something r-----ed I'm going to call them out for it" alibi. People say r-----ed things here every day, there's no shortage of awful opinions in any randomly selected thread.
