    Syria gives Russia an outlet to directly and/or indirectly influence other countries in the region. Russia/Syria didn’t just start to become buddy-buddy recently. Russia has had strong ties in Syria for decades selling the country arms, military technology, training their troops etc. in exchange, Russia has been able to deploy naval ships in the Mediterranean, giving them a strategic military position. It was widely rumored that the Russians actually instigated the 1973 Arab-Israeli War in the midst of the Cold War, just to piss off the U.S. & in attempt to wipe the biggest U.S. ally in the region, off the map. So, it’s not like we haven’t seen this from the Russians in the past.


    Right... literally the same exact thing can be said for Russia/Syria lol.

    Things are widely rumored if they follow his narrow story pro American war efforts, but once anything goes against that narrative he deems similarly widespread rumors as "Alex Jones conspiracy theories"

    How is that yikes? We just crippled their defenses in Syria. Obama would just talk the talk and take no action while Trump just took the initiative like a real man.
